I cannot believe that you are the ONLY MENTOR there! Surely there is away tolet the older & well known scientsta that have been aroumd for a LONG time know they are bneeded and much appreciated as he peple on thelist" of mentors/helpers that would be of huge help toyou(andeveryone trying to get taught..I feel badly for even asking you to mntor me when I realized you are all alone to help the many
people clamoring for a mentor!
Its not far or even possible to you to be exected to help ALL the appprentices!!I hope that your situationimproves as far as being all alone in this peoject!!
Im going to see the page of people who have NDs ,many of whom offerred to be of help..dony drive yourslf crazy!!

Thanks, Rockin' On, I won't! 6zuzie6 offered to be a mentor, but is quite busier than me. ^.^ Part of the reason I have time is that I'm homeschooled andwhen I'm done I can get on the computer for a while! ^.^ And it's fine that you asked! Anyone who needs a mentor, even if I'm by myself, can have one!

That is awesome thiking..but I am going to find & send you the link of all the "old-timers" who used to run a site...You should get in touch with some of these members,as Im SURE they would (many of them) be very glad to be of assisstance!
And better still..they all have mucho experiencein ND experiments & runnibg ND sites/keeping track of upcoming syuff..Back ASAP!

I would PM as many of the people you think are good mentors Asap..YOU HAVE ALOT OF PEOPLE WHO WANT/NEED SOMEONE TO HELP THEM. yOU CANT HOLD everyones HAND THROUGH EACH PROJECT..GET A GANG OF WANNA-HELP MENTORS AND SAVE THE DAY!sERIOUSLY..i TINK THIS IS YOUR BEST OPTION...GOOD LUCK!!!

Well, I had an idea that once we have past apprentices, I could pair them with new apprentices. Kinda like an ND big bro/big sis.

Good thinking..just gotta get the idea/news out to the people who could be good mentors,and make them realy WANT to be on the mentor list!!Im just trying to give you a bit of a nudge,as I now realize that in your position,theres no way you can help the people who will be doing upciming ND experiments..but you could get a great thing going on between the mentor list /& the apprentice list..and get the credit for helping us all!!
I kow you are a good person to offer everyone to be their mentor..but its just tooo much for any one person!!I would help you if you want me to ask some of my friewnds who have been doing it a long time ,most of them HAVE a ND,so that helpds too!!

Everyone: TO get news spread quicker, I will shortly be starting a weekly project newsletter! It will have the results of apprentices and mentors' experiments, tips, comments from "old-timers" etc. If anyone has any ideas, you can PM them to me or post them here. Also, for a few apprentices that have shown a lot of interest and skill in some areas, I will be offering them jobs if they want htem AFTER they finish apprenticeship. I don't want to get in the way of your learning with wokring! The first newsletter will be sent out this friday or saturday, depending on several things. My thanks goes out to everyone who has expressed their ideas and opinions to me!

I am really appreciative that someone decided to start this project..and its not even someone with a ton of NDs on scroll...which is really very gutsy & helpful to those of us who arent yet a ND 'owner'!!

P.S...Im not exactly sure on the dates I began the project(s),but Ive got a pile of posts that should go back to that time..but dont know where to find them! Do you need that info?Dates,etc?

I have my first eggsperiment due next Tuesday and I'm a bit about it all, so a helping hand and someone to talk to would be really appreciated.
I'm also here on behalf of my husband, who can't be online as much due to work & finds communicating in english much harder than I do. I'll try to get him to come into the # this weekend, though. His experiment is due this Sunday, about 3:40 pm cave time.

I am not sure of EXACT date I heard of the site(Ive been posting here fr awhile,so I can geusstimate),and I DO have my first ND experiment written out somewhere,so thats a date i will look for...BUT..my main/real ND need is to have a one on one 'mentor" that is not annoyed to be asked questions re: a new or possible experiment,and will be able to "help'(not DO IT FOR ME)me when Im about to try & figure out timing,etc,etc; of my next ND time to unfog,when to do misc ..tips or anything they are comfortable in sharing with me..basically an AVAILABLE PERSON who knowa what I need,& isnt annoyed to be asked things when Im not sure of the next move...THX!

I'm so so so sorry for my absence. For some reason the forum base for the site wasn't letting me in, and when i tried to make a new account multiple times it wouldn't work. *sigh* Sorry again.
