Neglected format:

Scroll Name: Dalady
Scroll Link:
Egg code (not direct link please): 3XZNW
Day of Experiment: 8 july 12
Time of Unfog: 6:30
Time of Death:XX:40 (6:40 PM EST)
What are the stats?: 0/0/0
What ER's have you put them in?: Hatching your dragons, Jaemeia, eggs around the world, Valley  Sherwood, neglected daycare and pets galore spa.

OK, my big plan is at 6:30 drop it in to as many er's as i can. i'll have the telaport already up on it so all i'll have to do is pull up my scroll on the laptop and at 6:35 i'll telaport to get the +1 day.

starlog 7-9-12,

the first experiment failed. the egg hatched with 4 min to spare. i have learned it takes 4 min to upload my scroll to all the above sites and that i can get a 15.0 to 1 OV:UV with just nelgeted daycare, eggs around the world and hatching your dragons. it took only 2 min for it to hatch after getting it into all the listed hatcheries.

the pebble dragon has hatched... it's still sick. i will continue the sickness until it finally grows up or dies or turns into a ND.

Experiment #2 results

both hatched into normal hatchlings. the time of death was :33 and i unfogged at :25 and started placing into ER's at :27, by :29 they were already stage 3 so i re-fogged until :32. one insta-hatched and one waited until 0 days showed. then hatched a few seconds before :34. i think i didn't hit the 15 :1 V:UV ratio.

lessons learned, wait to put into ER's and double check the ToD. I grab eggs from the cave and my first ToD was based on time caught. not sure if incubate alters the ToD more then just the 24 hours it's supposed to.

Experiment #3

Scroll Name: Dalady
Scroll Link:
Egg code: P6rod and AHdVC
Day of Experiment: 4 Aug 12
Time of Unfog: still working on it
Time of Death: midnight +\- 5 min (still narrowing the time down)
What are the stats?: 0/0/0
What ER's have you put them in?: Hatching your dragons, eggs around the world, Valley Sherwood, neglected daycare and pets galore spa.

For this set i plan on dropping them in the ER's with only 2 min to go. I have one dead egg (i forgot to put it into a hatchery Razz). I'v hear'd that have dead eggs increase your chances. So here go's.

OMG i'm a dumba$$. i forgot about the half hour after 0 time. Hurp a Durp a Doo

Experiment 1.5 update.
Nope, i'v had several eggs go soft shell and have the sickness say with them as hatchlings. But none of them died or turned. I even placed them into several more hatching sites to make them stay sick.

Experiment #3

Failed. that 30 min after 0 time is a load of bunk. i got it off of neglected daycare so i though it was legit. Nope. unfoged 5 min after ) time... insta-death.

Experiment #4

After the prior fail, i got a single low time off the AP. unfogged at 20 till 0 time and placed in a click exchange site. at 5 min i dropped into the previous listed hatching sites. at 1 min it turned. one thing to note. the normal egg had started to crack. as soon as it turned, it was back at a un cracked egg. i didn't have a telaport set up and 1 min wasn't enough to get the egg to hatch.

Probably because DC updated their website and patched the 30 minute loophole after egg reaches 0 hours. You were close enough to actually get an egg changed into a ND. I wanted to experiment with getting a ND, but I need people to trust since teleporting an egg to someone who isn't there is a letdown when the egg dies.

well it's nice to know that neglected daycare is just outdated lol
as for telaporting... i'm mooching off my mother. the scroll is hers so i'm telaporting to mine, and i'm fairly sure i'll take good care of any egg that turns.
i just got to have it all set up before hand. or maybe have it up on the laptop and just have to accept the trade... i think i'll try that.

Very Happy Very Happy Successfully turned not one but 2 dragons.
As with all science, being able to repeat the process is paramount to being able to prove your theory.
And here's mine.

Get a shinny egg, an inbred/messy/will not be missed, tinsel, shimmer, gold or silver.
Why? they take more views to hatch. But an ND doesn't (my theory)so the moment it turns, it hatches.
I had been able to turn but never to get it to live, even with the trade up and everything. The few seconds to click actions and accept and blam-o dead egg.
Also needing more views means you start at 10 mins til ToD. That was my other problem, my internet is not fast and it took at least 3 min to go to each hatchery and plunk the egg in. With the shinny now there is 7 min to bring in the views.
So at 10 min to ToD, put egg into AoND, Egg Drop Soup, Valley Sherwood, Eggs around the world, Silvi's lair and SDNN. Go back to AoND and re enter eggs, look at View ratio. Open a new tab and go to  AoND and go to the ND er and put the egg in one box and leave it open. The egg should flash (i'v had issues due to slow internet). refresh the other open AoND page to monitor the View ratio. Add to more boxes if not at 15:1.
As far as i can tell, having a 15:1 view ratio and over 1200 total views, the egg will turn and instantly hatch. I used 2 shimmers and they were only at stage 2 cracking when they turned right about at ToD.

One
Two -was traded and not not my scroll

Sounds easy enough if I can get any of those rare metallic eggs. Those places to drop the shiny egg is crazy just to get the views it needs for an ND.

I turned 2 more, a CB spotted green wing ND and a Shimmer ND

I also turned a tinsel but due to the lag at the top of the hour, I was frozen and unable to telaport so it died Sad

Then things dried up. Following the same procedure outlined above, i'v killed 4 shimmers over the last 2 weeks. I have tried several differing methods, but have noticed the views are not coming in like they did before. Looking back at the dates of my successes they were right after a new release so the eggs got more views in less time and from fewer ER's. Now knowing that, i'm adding 3 more ER's. I'm also trying to compensate with AoND Er viewer.

For the Cb that turned I slammed it into every Er i could and then opened several tabs with AoND Er viewer and with 4 viewers per page going got it to turn. Now I have tried the same process again and while i can get the egg to 15 :1 with minutes to spare the over-all views are still to low.

I do the majority of my experiments in the wee hours so there is less people on and less viewers going, I'm going to continue to fiddle with my formula for ND making and try to follow it perfectly right after the next new release to see if that is a playing variable.

Did you start view bombing the metal eggs 10 or so minutes before death?

no, i start entering them into hatcheries at 10 min, i view bomb at 2-3 min out. Depending on my ratio.

I'll definitely have to try experiments using metals. I'll let everyone know if I get similar results.
