Should I use Incubate or not?

Hello everyone,

I just caught a CB Whiptail egg from the AP. When the previous owner abandoned it, the egg must have been at 3 days and 15 hours (since the egg was stolen on January 8th) - but when it arrived on my scroll, it was at 4 days and 15 hours (thus it gained an extra day). As such, the egg will not die on January 15th (like all other January 8th eggs are supposed to), but instead on January 16th.

In addition to all that, this egg has pretty low stats (93/46/2), which hopefully makes it a good candidate for an ND experiment.

Now, my question to you is: should I use Incubate on this egg or not? Or, in other words: will an egg like this be more likely to turn Neglected with the use of Incubate, or without the use of Incubate?

I think incubate does nothing with how the egg could be able to turn or not.
it just increase the chance to survive for the turned egg by let it gain 1 more extra day
