So, How did it start it all?

After the weird repleacement of a ND with misbred of a holly egg out of season, the NDs existed.

But it only existed for that reason so TJ could fix the glitch....

So what comes around to having ND experiments? What/How did it make you think there's methods of getting a ND besides doing the holly breeding glitch?

Well, at first it seemed like it was impossible to get them other than misbreedings of the hollies... But since they were 'neglected' dragons, there had to be a way to neglect the eggs the right way to create NDs... And we had theories, tons of them... not logging into the account for the majority of the egg's lifetime, softshell forcings, creating graveyards.... Safest way to neglect them properly, we decided, was experimenting as we are doing right now.
